a bite
a slight bite
on the inside
of your elbow
a scratch on the
outside of your
thigh
a stretch
a yawning stretch
in your hips
knees back
back
further

Tiko, I kept reading "now we can" for "no we can". The correct reading sends my curiosity all over the place. Tom

crooked ties.
blackened eyes.
rosie cheeks.
mascara streaks.
missing shoes.
horrible news.
the bride was shagging the best man.
no first dance.
no last chance.
no champagne toast.
no groom to roast.
no thrown bouquet.
no bride to lay.
we still must pay the band.

sometimes it trickles
from a purse
a pocket
a bag of milk and beans
a hole in an old shoe
a book
a song
a parking ticket on a windshield
a tea light
a pink tree
a half eaten bagel
a strand of red hair
a bowling ball
a 2 iron
a wig
a transgender go-go dancer
or a
twitchy eye
