dear Richard
my thankyuuus for your kind words
and your creating the time to sit with my poetry.
i happen to be in Paris right now and the weather is extremely mild
and almost no rain...... tonight is the opening of my wife Nermin's exhibition
at the Carousel de Louvre
www.nerminkura.net
lots of poetic expressions all around
if any one is near by and would like to visit the show
let me know and i will arrange for free tickets.

dear Peter
my sincerest apologies for such a late reply.....
my wife's two exhibitions in Paris
www.nerminkura.net
took me a long way a way from this circle
and i have just had the time to return home to Rotterdam and once
again be here to enjoy the myriad of talented pens.
i am most certainly thankful for your very kind words
and i shall create the time to acquaint myself more with your poems as well.

Silent, putting this up to front page for the week. (Everyone out there, see what even the briefest mention of buying me one Belgian chocolate gets you?) LOL. Seriously, I loved this poem at first read and every time I go back, the pool gets deeper and the bottom clearer and further away. Tom

dear Tom
this is a most special 2010 new years gift
...........and the first time that some of my words
have found their way to the Front Page.
i am very grateful for the opportunity to be able to share
with so many meaningful & gifted pens in this circle.
actually this afternoon i am driving from home in Rotterdam to chocolate land
....Antwerp and then afterwards on to Brussels.....
and stay there until tuesday when we are flying to Lanzarote
off the coast of Western Sahara
so i may possibly be out of touch for a while.
once again many many thankyuuuus.

This poem has now been also published in the Street Sights 2011 calendar
for the month of July
http://www.streetsights.org/
Our Mission
Street Sights serves as a forum for advocates, homeless and formerly homeless people, students, state officials,
and the general public to share accurate and honest information about issues relating to homelessness.
Our goal is to shed light on a subject not often addressed and, to some degree, ignored.
We aim to provoke discussion and give a voice to voiceless people in our community.
We provide a space free of judgment in which we recognize the dignity and
worth of each person and in doing so empower the group as a whole.
Ocean State Poets....
supports and celebrates the beautiful people who keep these important issues
of the rhode island community at the forefront of our awareness
