Silent, putting this up to front page for the week. (Everyone out there, see what even the briefest mention of buying me one Belgian chocolate gets you?) LOL. Seriously, I loved this poem at first read and every time I go back, the pool gets deeper and the bottom clearer and further away. Tom

dear Tom
this is a most special 2010 new years gift
...........and the first time that some of my words
have found their way to the Front Page.
i am very grateful for the opportunity to be able to share
with so many meaningful & gifted pens in this circle.
actually this afternoon i am driving from home in Rotterdam to chocolate land
....Antwerp and then afterwards on to Brussels.....
and stay there until tuesday when we are flying to Lanzarote
off the coast of Western Sahara
so i may possibly be out of touch for a while.
once again many many thankyuuuus.

Excellent feature for the front page. Makes calm an insufficient word.

silent i am in love with that final stanza. as always, your delicate fusion of wit and scenery serve this poem well. an deserved front page pick. on reread, that "regalia" very prominent in placing those cardinals in the piece, a piercing red. very much enjoyed. -lawrence

what a pleasure to feel your contentment
with the final stanza .....that it pleases you pleases me....
and happy that the 'regalia ' sang so well too.
