  Gubbio Porcelain
« on: December 01, 2009, 06:22:44 PM » by Ken Robson
I feel connection here,
the pull of gravity,
a laying on of hands,
an antic dance in salmons, blues.

What I see I've felt before--
it's Greek to me.

The craft of angling is catching fish. The art of angling is a
receptiveness to those connections, the art of letting one
thing lead to another until, if only locally and momentarily,
you realize some small completeness.

Something's ancient here,
and sacred, too.
It's in the spaces, depths,
the light and layering
of salmons, blues--

what I see I've seen before--

it's Greek to me.
This could end well, for me, at "depths," Ken. Tom

I like this.

I was thinking Ken, what do you think to omitting line 4.  It's just I'm wondering if you're telling us there what the rest is showing us

of salmons, blues--

There is connection here,
a force of arms,
a laying on of hands,
an antic dance in salmons, blues.

What I see I've felt before--
it's Greek to me.
