Enjoying again!  I like what michelle said earlier in re: the stars and children.  And am much moved by the tone of your end line, Jonathan -- the desire to go out and find.  The drive in those words.  The search for beauty.  Lovely.

jonathan this is quiet and reflective for me.  your language instantly took me back to my undergraduate quad, lined with miniature light posts, not too bright, but illuminating enough to see figures in the dark and keep you mellowed during drunken walks back to the dorm.  often, the city glow in rural virginia was minimal, allowing the starts to coax possibility.  enjoyed the scene here and a fine pick.  lawrence
