We begin this week with the Beats, in both the San Francisco Chronicle and the New York Times. The book that's triggering these articles is Jack Kerouac and Allen Ginsberg: The Letters, Edited by Bill Morgan and David Stanford. There are several reviews of this important work already available on the web, and each seems to be bringing out different aspects of the time and the relationships. News of this book arrives as news of the movie Howl is brewing, which will be out this fall.
