Oh I love this, silent.  Enjoy the 'late bloomer' stanza, and especially love the ending.  Perfectly delightful.

Was happy to see a new poem, Silent. Like this character sketch very much. The title a mystery, but will give my brain something to chew on for the rest of the week! Tom

silent very much enjoyed this evening.  your poem here challenged me, which leaves me to read as our main character etching out her own life from her parents, with S1 serving as the ink and S2 the blazoned copper.  also really like that 'composure of a late bloomer'.  a fine read. lawrence

Your characters are accumulating in my mind, Silent, and I'm starting to see them in the same place, interacting. It's a consistent alternative world, its inhabitants displaying their unusual dimensions. Really like that. -Tom

though for me it flows
when spoken aloud

as i give good pause
between those two
