swimming with whales

in memory of Todd Moore
there’s ever a time
for the sea mew’s cry
ever a roll
to the ocean’s skin
always a sleep
for the dreams
of the dead
to sail
to the home
of all winds
NB.If any should be curious as to why I wrote this poem using this imagery, and dedicated it to Todd Moore, perhaps that may be resolved by reading the end of this essay:

Thanks, Michelle. Hope you'd a rewarding reverie. Perhaps to the house of all possible myths?
Then it worked, Tiko. Mil Gracias.

the ethereal substance here
reminds me of your words
i wish
to be buried
in brotherhood

its silence

from

the threads of an outlaw beyond the ins and outs of silk and thimble
that keep vagabond vividness alive
and friendship...

Thanks, Stella, Tom.
Yes, Sl, that's the pic Outlaw Poetry chose to go with this. A brilliant choice, in my view.
Cheers

I find myself very moved by this poem, milner. I wish I could say how much.

That you're the second person to say they were 'moved' by this, Lynn (Tiko the other), really makes me feel that this is doing its job. Many thanks

Fados, Sl, can hold a beautiful sadness. But a fado sung (if that's not stretching the word to its extreme limits) by me, would best be described as a handy tool for an inquisitor.
