Hello from a new member

Hi all. I'm thrilled to have found an online poetry forum with standards and constructive criticism. I love to help others with their writing and I love to get help with mine. Can't wait to jump in! I don't get as much online time as I'd like, but I'll be around as often as I can. Here is my typical 3rd person bio:

Carol Hattrup’s poems have appeared in The New York Quarterly, California Quarterly, The Owen Wister Review, Soundings East, The Binnacle, RiverSedge, Quercus Review, and others. Prior to her current job as a full-time mother with two demanding young employers, she worked for two Fortune 100 companies. She's also taught second grade in a rural district. She holds degrees in geography and education, and still doesn't know what she wants to be when she grows up.

I see 2nd grade was too much for you, so you fled to an easier gig in Fortune 100!
