First Draft from The Abandoned Dictionary
« on: September 04, 2010, 02:34:21 PM » by maggie flanagan-wilkie
a day in a different world—the sun raining its dry mist
on the occupation of the hour—the first different day—
the first day after death bent the shape of existence,
a day without sound for all its flagellating noise.

a day to beg away from. to exorcize. to slay.

Maggie, I like the whole idea of the first day of a new existence - what it's like, can it be rejected? Tom

typo in title?
a day in a different world—the sun raining its dry mist
on the occupation of the hour—the first different day—
the first day after death bent the shape of existence,
a day without sound for all its flagellating noise.

a day to beg away from. to exorcize. to slay.
