To submit your poetry:

Make sure you have created an account on Poetry Circle and logged in. To create an account now, click click here.

1. Click the Submit your work link from the Contents menu on the Poetry Circle home page.

2. Under Board Tools, locate and click the Start New Topic link.

3. You'll be taken to the Start New Topic screen. There, type the title of your poem in the Subject box, and then type or enter the text of the poem in the large text box below the row of smilies.

4. Click the Additional Options link below the large text box if you wish to see other posting options.

5. Click Post when you've finished.

Your work may be moved to the read-only Editors' Picks board or to the Featured Poems board by one of Poetry Circle's roving editors. Poems most recently moved to the Featured Poems board will appear on the front page of Poetry Circle.

Charles, generally we do a poem at a time here, yes, so that folks can comment on each piece.

If you have a visual poem, you can upload it as an image file (click Additional Options when posting). Or if it's already hosted as an image elsewhere, just enclose the URL in tags.

There isn't a page two of Recent Posts. You can look on the right side of the screen under Site Tools and choose Show unread posts since last visit

I always dread looking at the  Editor's picks whether it's the in the High School paper or the New Yorker.  Often I find mediocre to bad work, and it reminds me how good poets are subject to the whims of publication gatekeepers, and even more frightening, public taste. Oh well there's always posthumous discovery.

Ha, that is cool. With wit like that I doubt your discovery will be posthumous. There's two kind of approaches. Submit your best work and hope or read along for a while and figure out the Editor's preference and write to match. Hmm,

There's 12 editors here, Paul, so you've your work cut out for the 2nd choice!

It's only been a few days since you posted the first message....not all the editors are around all the time (like me for instance - have not been around because I have four finals tomorrow and I've been studying like crazy) - so I would give them time to see your note and then to write up a bio and post it.  Might take a little while.
